How does the program work?
The leader program considers all activities that broaden the horizons (both curricular and broader) and provide new experiences and skills. For example, if you volunteer at an NGO in your home country, volunteer for a variety of events, engage in charity, actively participate in social, cultural, and sporting events, or complete a MOOC or summer university, you can count all of these activities (see activity table for details). Upon successfully completing the program (at least 1000 points), you will receive a certificate of in-service training from the University of Tartu on passing the leadership program at the graduation ceremony.
It is possible to receive a letter of recommendation from the coordinator during the program when applying for a job or other universities.
CONDITIONS FOR PASSING:
- Must collect 1000 points by the end of studies.
- All activities must be verified (picture, certificate, etc.) and analyzed.
- At the end must be compiled comprehensive analysis.
What kind of student is expected?
A self-directed, responsible, and development-oriented student who finds that self-improvement and contributing to the world is fierce and developing!
In a leadership program, no one is forcing or controlling. All activities take place under the leadership and responsibility of the student. The Program Coordinator has only a supportive role.
